Friday and Saturday Dec 23-24th. We would like to share the weather warnings from a senior weather forcaster for BC Wildfire. Due to very frozen ground ground temperatures of minus 10c, we are at a high risk of any rainfall turning into ICE immediately. The weather forecast for the Frazer Valley shows up to 80mm of rain for our area. What this means for us is the possibility of zero travel, and large areas of ice wrecking electrical infrastructure and bringing down trees. Please prepare yourself for 48 hours of potential power outages and travel delays.
