Covid 19

The province of BC has declared a State of Emergency due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The GVFD has been responding to the threat this novel virus poses to our community by strictly adhering to all public health orders and guidelines. At the onset of the pandemic the GVFD also drastically changed how our training and operations function in order to maintain our high standards of service, while also protecting both our volunteers and our community.

The BC Centre for Disease Control is managing the province’s response to this emergency and has set up many resources for the public to access if they have questions or concerns.

Visit their website using the link below, or call their Covid-19 hotline between 7:30am-8pm, 7 days a week at 1-888-COVID19 (1-888-268-4319)
