On Gabriola, Carol has been a steady advocate for FireSmart practices, helping residents understand practical steps they can take around their homes to reduce wildfire risk. Through education, outreach, and collaboration, she has helped strengthen a culture of wildfire awareness and shared responsibility in the community.
